Morons in the French Revolution. Some with high skill
sets.
It's The Terror. A moron and two regular men are led to
the guillotine by soldiers. Executioners select one of
the regular men. He is brought to the blocks. A hooded
man pulls the crossbeam rope. The blade whizzes down
the grooved posts . . . and stops. The blade stops an
inch above the regular man's neck.
"It is a miracle!" exclaim many in the crowd, "Free
him!" And the regular man is freed.
Executioners select the other regular man and have him
brought to the blocks. The same thing happens. The
guillotine blade stops an inch above the man's neck.
"It is a miracle!" chants the mob, "Free him!" and the
second regular man is freed.
Executioners select the moron and have him brought to
the blocks. As the moron steps up the platform, he
looks at the guillotine mechanism and exclaims, "I see
where the problem is!"
