Quoting William Safire:
"When was the last time you saw a person stop and think on television?"
The show 'Monk'.
I hope someone gives me a smack upside the head if I ever write tripe

affect social relations but this highly selective reading of 'the good
old days' is embarrassing.
Sincerely,
