Yes.
I know this will make you think of Eric 1.0, but yes. It is too early. (Think Alaska as "Seward's Folly.")
On the other hand, Obama's done a couple good things so far, in my opinion, like the move to further restrict mercury emissions and plans to create a viable US rail system. It's also too early to tell if he is a success or failure.
Was Clinton a success or failure? He's starting to look like a big failure (wasting the "peace dividend," allowing nuclear proliferation, his 2000 trade bill with China) but it's also probably too early to tell.
