I don't either, but I think there are people like that
around!  But they weren't -- insofar as I could tell
-- among opponents of the war here, though admittedly,
the opposition, at its height, was so massive and so
varied it included almost every type of person! 

-- but I'm not sure what Eric means by "antiwar
converts".  People who didn't initially oppose the War
on Iraq? People who don't initially oppose a given
war?  People who aren't among Eric's hard-core
not-necessarily-pacifist "anti-war" grouping but
oppose a/the war anyway?
