There's only one true poem, the GNP,
All else is a gas tank reading empty.
What matters this: how much have you earned.
That is our purpose and that alone.
But if you'd rather you can go gnaw on a bone.

C'mon Mike. If you really believed that, you wouldn't write
poems. You may not get paid for your discernment, but you didn't
really develop your discernment to get paid. You probably had no
choice in the matter. Although it would be nice to get paid . . .
