[lit-ideas] THE IRANIANS ARE COMING! THE IRANIANS ARE COMING!

I'm still not sure what the threat from Iran is supposed to be.  So they might 
get an A bomb, so what?  If anything, it'll serious them up.  Most of the world 
now sees America as the greatest threat to the world because we believe we're 
true and righteous and just and moral and God-directed and we've got ten 
thousand H bombs to prove it.  Until America is disarmed all nations are at 
risk and are fools who don't arm themselves with atomic weapons.  An ally 
today, but tomorrow?  Maybe we'll have enlightened leadership next time or 
maybe we'll have more of the Bush types.  Who can chance our politics?  If I 
were Iran, I'd arm myself to the teeth against us.  We are NOT the GOOD GUYS, 
guys, we're just GUYS.  Especially in the eyes of the Muslim world we have 
become the VERY SUSPECT GUYS.  I for one, understand why they might think that.

All disarm or all arm.  It's the dictum of rationality.
