here you have food that one cook
or more accurately
white-jacketed heater-upper
has plated
but now it waits
because the fry guy is backed up
so you get cold fish and hot chips or vice versa
fuss not
my family says
it's fun eating out
this can be true
if you bring me fresh horse and forage
something simple
hot
cooked
now hold the five easy pieces of carlton farms pork
drizzled over a bed of cold seasonal greens
between your knees
