no, i don't know what to make of suffering
but since it's my turn here goes
words express blues
like milk pulled
from an udder
art tweaks a muse
like earth in
that quake's shudder
i look beneath my shoes
where nature shoots life out
with nurture
the economy balances dues
groin control pays pennance
to major rapture
and will i wonder
we say amen at this juncture
or can we now choose to sing our joys
raise hallelujahs to the roof
not ignoring but gently refusing
cows standing all folorner
with signs at every corner
