What worse nightmare than we have today after eight years of Republicans? Do
you not know the state of the economy and our slide from superpower into
irrelevant in eight short years? People may remember the Bush years as the
golden years, the way people in the late 1980's thought of the Brezhnev years
as the golden years. My guess is there won't be a "'Democrat' dictatorship"
for the next 30 years even if Democrats are elected for 30 years. Paulson, et
al. are nationalizing the banks. That's hardly a Democratic gesture. Or for
that matter not even a Republican one.

Hard to guess what you meant. Yet with Obama/Biden in
Exec, a supermajority of Dems in Congress, combined
with machine politics like ACORN, it could mean a
"Democrat" dictatorship for the next thirty years.
The only thing worse than not getting what you want is
getting what you want. We'll see later if this turns to
nightmare. If worst cases are realized, Mike might have
a chance to "confront the entire culture" and these
turgid Bush years might seem golden. On the other hand
this could be Renaissance time ... only with hiphop
idiocracy texting between purges.
