[lit-ideas] So what exactly does one do in Bay Area?

Hi,

off-topic I know, but I am attending a conference at
San Francisco on end of February. However, due to
corporate paranoia they only allow so many of us on
same flights, which the travel agent kindly forgot to
inform me off, so my flight plans are down the toilet.
To cut a long story short, I have couple days to kill
in Bay Area, which is not that bad considering
Helsinki weather in February. I was thinking of
heading to Berkeley, kind of liked the place when I
visited it briefly, and do some book shopping. But I
realized this today and have to book flights tomorow,
so I haven't given the matter much thought.
Suggestions?
