Hi Robert. I belong to a Rhodesian Ridgeback discussion group and it is possible to upload photos to the group Yahoo site, but the pictures are so tiny as to be of poor quality. People with old computer systems, Dial-up, or old digital cameras seem to be satisfied with that, but it only takes a modern digital camera to see how inadequate those photos are. And so we add pictures right in with our text as I did here for a few photos. The only requirement there is that they not be too large. I think the limit is something like 150KB. I blundered around in Judy's blog unsuccessfully and only after reading her note more carefully realized I didn't have all the instructions. Sigh. That particular file got past my version of Mozilla Thunderbird, but I deleted it because of the time it seemed to be taking to download. I understand it was an entertaining commercial. > Seeing that he sent a .wmv file--which was well received--made me think > it was okay to send my amateur photos. It was a plea for commonsense, not based on ideology, although the Categorical Imperative could be seen in the far distance. Or the Tragedy of the Commons. Whatever. Self-culpamization is unnecessary. I belong to three 'dog lists,' the list for Friends of Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers; the Kerry Blue Terrier list; and a general Terrier list. You can imagine the potential for Hundeabbildung Überlastung. Happily, people with pictures to share (and there are lots of them) provide web addresses. Andreas' suggestion that someone create a blog (blogsite?) seems to be working.
