Another energy war of the 21st century. First us in Iraq spreading democracy,
bombing the daylights out of Baghdad, shocking and awing in a new world order,
now Russia with whatever excuses it's using to establish supremacy over the
pipeline in that region. From Yahoo News:
"The British oil company BP shut down one of three Georgian pipelines as a
precaution. Georgia sits on a strategic oil pipeline carrying Caspian crude to
Western markets bypassing Russia, has long been a source of contention between
the West and a resurgent Russia, which is seeking to strengthen its role as the
dominant energy supplier to the continent."
