To follow your non-serious strategy, it depends. A piece of cloth can be used to conceal a bomb. A piece of cloth can be used as the fuse for a bomb. A piece of cloth can be used as a handkerchief. A piece of cloth can be used to wrap a holy relic like a Saint's metatarsal or a secular relic like Descartes' skull. A piece of cloth can be sewn to other pieces to make a coat of many colors. It depends.

One side of the issue poses multiculturalism against core liberal Enlightenment values, particularly equality. The other side of the issue is clearly one of public safety.

The first topic asks us to consider: when do core liberal values trump multiculturalism? The second topic: when do threats to public safety trump freedom of expression?
