[lit-ideas] Re: Playing with Google

To get there from here you take Whiskey Hill Road to a town called Ninety-One and carry straight on. The name changes to Barnard's Road and then, after you pass through Needy, it becomes Pudding River. Take a left on Dryland Road and follow it to Dryland, which is little more than the intersection of Dryland and Heinz. The next left is South Gribble Road. Follow it until you get to South Oglesby Road, which will take you back through Needy to Monte Cristo. There is no count. Never was. The Gribble Barn though is close by, up near the Yoders' place. The Gribbles-- Andrew, Frank, Lena, Estes, Jack, Charles, Sam, Allen, Albert, Maggie, Ensley, Ralph and Gladys-- were hardscrabble folk at the start, but they had animals and built a barn and raised ten children, so maybe things weren't quite as bad as Charles' scowl suggests. Probably the photographer had just said how much his visit would cost. In cash.
