Phatic can't seem to post to the list and he asked me to forward two posts for
him. I have nothing to do except avoid writing a Buber paper, so I figured

the hawkish eye of mcevoy and its limits:
"'phatic' [are you Greek with a weight problem? if so, Oprah has the perfect
thing]"
no i am french. why do you think i have this outreeegous accent, you son of a
silly person. now go away or i shall taunt you a second timee.
"It is perhaps no surprise that where I disagree is perhaps that I think this
topic interests me more than bothers me."
if i am to argue, i must take up the contrary position, yes.
"For example, a handle on so-called 'addictive behaviours' like alcoholism
might provide interesting insights into other behaviours less addictive [eg.
voting for Bush]. "
oh i thought we were talking about additive behaviour, and i didn't understand
what that would be.
cheers,
phatic
