[lit-ideas] Re: On the road poem

near the birthplace of the revolution
on six floors of rooms in the best western in waltham
there are both irons and ironing boards
one set per room
but no fridges so
taking advantage of a cold spell
tonight at the end of our brief history
we have thrown the surplus pizza out
on the balcony
like tea
for we are readying a parting 
from the east's most earnest guides
those who have volunteered to walk backwards through the snow 
all ways
to shout out about
colleges
