I wrote up a humorous response and deleted it. I see you're very upset, so
humor wouldn't be appropriate. If you're using an email system in your
computer, like Outlook, you can set it to send attachments directly to a
folder, then burn the folder to another drive, such as a CD drive (I think
that's D or H). Or perhaps periodically archive the emails into a folder
and put them on a CD so they don't take up as much space. If you're on a
University server, one of the people in the IT department might be able to
set it up for you. At some point no matter how small each post, the sheer
number will use all the space. In the 90's on my old computer I was using
a zip drive (I don't think they make them anymore) and I liked it. It was
an entire drive and I inserted it each time I wanted to do email. When one
filled up, I'd get another. Now I imagine CD's are used for that but I've
never done it so I don't know. This laptop is 60% empty so I don't have
any incentive.

In the meantime, I do apologize for my comment to Andreas. I think too
that you might consider filtering my posts into a delete folder so they
never hit your system and you don't have to be bothered with them.
