[lit-ideas] Re: New Year's Resolutions

What do you think of RFID's? I didn't pay much attention when I read it the
first time, kind of thought it's so far into the future, Walmart is
experimenting with it. When I read Wikipedia, it turns that Walmart and the
DOD have been using them and requiring them of their vendors, which means a
huge chunk of the world is using them. They have a tremendous range of uses.
They're what they implant into pets (who knew?), so the next step is, yes,
implanting into select humans (read Wikipedia, please). Whatever.

Marlena, if you don't stop focusing on me I'm going to start talking about the
hazards of one parent families. Children need two parents Marlena, otherwise
how does a boy internalize manhood (from his mother?) or a girl get an idea of
how to relate to men. Please keep you comments limited to yourself. Thanks.

And now, having finished phase I, I'm off to phase II but still in the house.

Hi, Irene/Andy,
Yes! Thank-you for *finally* understanding that if you are not part of the
solution that you are part of the problem! And that complaining is part of the
tearing down that creates despair!

and, that if you are not doing your part--that you are the same as the selfish
pharma types, multi-national types who care careless about the environment [not
their job--their job is simply to take care of the immediate business at
hand--but isn't it a shame that xyz happens and no one does anything; or even
the Bushite types [who take care of themselves very well and even the few
cronies they have--just no one else because it is not something that they see
themselves as needing to do--it's always someone else's 'job'.]..) THANK YOU
for being open enough to understand that YOU are a person who can make change
happen!

Yes--you ARE part of the world. You ARE part of the community in which you live!

You are a CITIZEN! And, as such, YOU are RESPONSIBLE for your corner of the
world!

Thanking Irene/Andy and wondering what community service organization she is
going to place her efforts towards,
Marlena in Missouri
