[lit-ideas] Re: National Poetry Month exercise?

Mirembe: On the other hand, Richard Wilbur is a major babe - poetically
anyway (I have no idea what he actually looks like).

Eric: He's gettin' kinda elderly now but was a generally handsome man.
Sylvia Plath's parents cajoled him to speak to Sylvia so she could see
that great poets could also be "normal" human beings. He spoke to her,
but it didn't alter the course of her life.

His long poem "Walking to Sleep" (which I have memorized) is one of my
personal favorites of all time and genres. Maybe I'll type that out for
the fifteenth; on the other hand, I was thinking of posting something
from one of the best younger poets....
