I have a sinus thing too, I thought it was a Brit sinus thing -- it's cool and
damp here, people are getting zapped by opportunistic infections...

one gigabyte of RAM

I could do with that, my PC's struggling on 512

I <ahem> religiously watch Life of Brian every Easter. I think it's a far
more compelling and better piece than the other Monty Python movie, which name
I forget and which is better known and which, since I have a sinus thing going
on and my computer is going to s**t I'm too lazy to look the name up.

On the bright side Monday I am being shipped a brand new computer with one
gigabyte of RAM and 80 GB fixed disk space. If I'm still alive I'll be in 7th
heaven. Wait. You have to die to go to heaven don't you. Okay, I'm going to
have to take some time to figure this out. Erin -- can any of the German
philosophers help w/ this one?

"Monsieur Ibrahim" is actually a very nice movie. Perhaps Irene was expecting
"Snakes on a Plane". The movie is set in a neighborhood in Paris. It's one of
the best depictions of daily life in Paris (asides from La femme Nikita).

Last night, friends came over and we watched "Life of Brian" (Netflix). John
Cleese shows up under various disguises in many scenes. The movie stays fresh
because of its parody of the Judean People's Front, People's Front of Judea,
and the Judean Popular People's Front. It also satirizes the origins of
Christianity. The Romans get it too. In fact, everyone gets it. No wonder the
Baptists burnt down a movie house over this.

  The script is at http://www.mwscomp.com/movies/brian/brian.htm#script
