primary determinant of history or that Plato's republic never had
nuclear weapons trained on their cities for decades.
Couldn't figure out what would make a philosopher "the greatest."
Influence? Has Plato (Christianity) or Aristotle (science) had more
influence? Relevance? Was Marx, Nietzsche, or Kierkegaard more relevant?
Then,some of the choices were just plain odd. Bertrand Russell for example.
