It's in PLOTINUS (Loeb, vol. 1).
The text reads (p. 25)
"There was also a medical man [attending Plotinus's 'classes'],
Paulinus of Scythopolis, whom Plotinus used to call
Mikkalos [Míkkalos] -- he always got things wrong."
"parakousmáton pláre gegonónta"
Clue -- anyone? I should check with the Liddell/Scott Greek lexicon online.
Have just checked 'mikk-' to no avail, other than a spelling variant of
'mikros', small.
