Wrong. Tony Blair would do it too -- it's been
proposed. (But the clinics would be free to
patients.) The problem with the proposal in our
context is that the "real NHS" would be left to deal
with difficult and expensive cases and also damned for
being more expensive than these clinics. (Another
problem is that they're unlikely to help the poorest
people and/or those most in need.)
