Harrison Solow is the wife of Herbert Solow, the production guy in charge of Star Trek, among other Hollywood stuff. Her real name is Yvonne Fern Solow, and my recollection is that her husband calls her "Fern". (I had dinner with the two of them in Berkeley once.) She's the author of a book about the show's creator, _Gene Roddenberry: The Last Conversation_.
Wiki on Herbert Solow http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herbert_F._SolowAs William says, 'He is married to Yvonne Fern Solow, who wrote the book, Gene Roddenberry: The Last Conversation (1994).' So, I'm puzzled: given that her actual name is public knowledge, why did she need to shield herself on Phil-Lit by adopting the name 'Harrison'?
Herbert Solow was involved with Star Trek. Harrison Ford was the character Han Solo on Star Wars. Fern Solow went by the name 'Harrison Solow,' at least on the list. Do all those people from the future hang out together?
She seemed like a nice person. Robert Paul ------------------------------------------------------------------ To change your Lit-Ideas settings (subscribe/unsub, vacation on/off, digest on/off), visit www.andreas.com/faq-lit-ideas.html
