The obits today contain a small puzzle. I can see why Tai Man Wu,
born in Zengcheng, when he moved to Hong Kong or perhaps later when
he moved to the U.S. (the obit doesn't make the chronology clear)
named his children Victor and Sherry. No doubt his wife, Cui Jiao
Deng, had some say in the matter. What I don't understand is the
listing of his sisters and brothers: Kan Foon Ng, Yn Foon Ng, Wan
Foon Ng and Joy Yin Hig. First of all there's the different last
name--so I suppose they're step brothers and sisters--but then
there's the fact that Kan, Yn and Wan are the sisters; Joy is the boy.
