This post is in tribute to Larry Kramer who I met once and, whatever our
disagreements, was very good company (I think he would have liked this):-

<Will it make a difference in my future?

If you think keeping a clear head in combat will help you keep a clear head
in business. If you think that leadership is more valuable than management.
If you think that learning to adapt, and to overcome challenges will help you
in life. If you think that hard work and discipline will help in a
competitive business environment. If you think that people respect
selflessness more than selfishness. If you think that being responsible for
others? lives will help you be a better boss. If you think that learning to
give and receive orders will help you be more successful at work. If you
think that learning how to reward those who work for you for their efforts is
a good thing. If you think that being a doer rather than a watcher will make
a difference to an employer. If you think that respecting yourself and your
accomplishments will make a difference in the rest of your life.

I repeat this because it is, well, (LK aside) I was brought up...a certain
way.
Christian(ist), I suppose.

Horrible as the above sounds, and (believe me) I could try to take the piss
here, I think Brian has put his cards on the table fairly and squarely and
that these cards deserve consideration.

Happy Christmas Everyone, including those who have failed to respond (or,
even in my view, respond at all adequately) to my last posts on induction [I
know RP is just a Wigsteinisn intellectual "cheat" but I expected more from
EY].

Happy holiday!

Donal

Still interested in Christian ethics (their greatness and lackingness)
Also: to understand "selfeshness" (sic) given the 'The Selfish Gene' as a
theory (please do not think this Darwinism does:- A) nothing relevant to me
as a Christian; or B)nothing relevant to me as a non-Christian ((- if so, you
are both MAD SECTS)).

May God, if he exists, forgive RP for his bullshit (it is sad he cannot even
*attempt* to 'deconstruct' (or whatver bullshit he prefers) the argument
provided from Popper's RATOAS. One of them is a great philosopher with lots
to say. One isn't.
