The problem with stuff like this is that it looks like it's only happening in places nobody cares about, like Africa or India. But these are planetary changes. They may be beginning there first, but they'll get here eventually. Last summer the extreme heat reached Minnesota. Drinking water is becoming a worldwide problem, yet half of the potable water in this country goes to sustain a very inefficient, polluting food source, namely cattle.
I was reading last night that if (probably when) the conveyor belt stops, Europe may not necessarily descend into an ice age by virtue of the fact that the planet is generally warming, so they'll warm too. The problem is that the oceans are dying and they're integral to the weather. It'a huge, unprecedented experiment. What life on the planet will be like with dead oceans. Talk about interesting times. Gotta put in my new router and modem. See ya.
