[lit-ideas] Re: Iran (2), First Front

Mike,

I think you, and Andreas and perhaps some others are misunderstanding why
I'm posting the notes on Iran. I'm not doing it to prove America's moral
superiority to Iran. I am doing it because in conversation about Iran I got
the impression that it wasn't fully appreciated how potent, accomplished,
and resolved Iran is. I have the Brookings Strategy in mind here. By the
time I'm done with my quotes, I believe there will be inductive proof that
Iran would not be vulnerable to the Brookings Strategy. But we shall see.

As to America being the bad guy during the Cold War, yeah, yeah, yeah, got
it. I don't believe it but I got it. I'm glad we won that war, and I hope
America wins so you won't be subjected to a tyranny which will take away
your right to abuse America..

In constrast to the activities of Augusto Pinochet's army and the Nicaraguan
Contra, and the death squads of El Salvador which the United States trained
and supplied.
