ck: I don't know of any shellfish that's selfish. Those shellfish with which
I've been acquainted gave of themselves wholly, withholding nothing. You get
the shellfish gene by ingesting shellfish, and as a Southerner, you're
commanded to ingest and imbibe whatever's delicious and can't crawl away from
you.
As for the so-called selfish gene, it's a wacky theory that doesn't go down
easy. Pass the crawfish, mister. I'm in the mood for suckin' heads.
