If you want to move slowly, I would suggest picking a particular chapter or even part of a chapter to work through. The nature of this forum is such that we should expect topic and attention drift to set in quickly. The other option is to do a rough overview and let people's interest guide us to passages that could be worked through more closely. Some time ago, either on this list or its predecessor, I took this approach for Nietzsche's _Beyond Good and Evil_. In either case, we would need a few more readers than John and me.
