I would re-think this. First, I would like to know if the RAF knew they
were bombing camp survivors. For example, was it near any kind of factory?
Second, even now, aerial bombing is not all that accurate. Consider
accidental bombing of civilians with drones. Third, I don't think it
behooves citizens of the only country which deliberately dropped atom bombs
on civilians to criticize the others. And finally, the English were bombed,
rocketed, etc., etc. while US was not.
I am grateful to Americans, Russians and British (UK) for liberating Europe
from Nazis. I was there, among the liberated. And I am relieved that I was
not the one to decide where and upon whom to drop bombs. But you will
forgive, I hope, that I do not have a lot of sympathy for Germans of that
time. I think the current population of Germany has gone a long way to
right past wrongs. But none of this will bring back any of the dead. Nor
will it help people who are still suffering psychological damage.
Veronica, not proud of US history in Latin America

Well, it's early yet. (Didn't realize that was your back, by the way.)

Such tsk-tsking from a resident of the country which perpetrated the worst
friendly fire massacre in history. During WW2, the RAF killed over 7,000
Nazi camp survivors in Lybeck harbor. The strafing butchery was followed
by an "Oops" and a stiff-upper-lip cover-up.
In good cheer,
Eric
