Dear M. Speranza, it si unfortunate that your silly dogmatism blinds you
to very easy to check semantic contents.
nobody asks for maximal ages, when they ask x "how old are you?" there is
(at best) an hidden indexical, possibly coded by tense.
e.g. how old are you [now]?
answering "I am six" since my present age is (alas) way beyond 'six'
[number of years since my birth...] is only idiotic. notice that if this
were the case (the case being your nonsense about scales) anyone, at any
time can answer "I am one day old"-
which is not true.
As for yoru further, may I suggest you take a look at Gazdar, or even
easier, the work on emp/fom pragmatics around Noveck, Bott, et al. at IC
of Lyon?
all the best
as for my native language, you have been told and you do not understand.
as Grice would tell you, it is always best to avoid prolixity and bullshit
