The Archivist would like to note that Wallis Simpson, Mme. Kai-Shek, Queen
Elizabeth II, and Corazon Aquino, were each Woman of the Year.
The Archivist was misled into thinking that they were improbably named 'Man of
the Year' because of Time's decision to change from Man/Woman of the Year to
Person of the Year, a change for which there would seem to have been no need.
JL is often helpful with distinctions like this.
