[lit-ideas] Re: Don't Stand So Close to Me

I think that's a somewhat unwarranted generalization. My significant other of nearly five months is 10 years older than I am (34) and there is no such power differential, as you put it (the thought of his attempting to exert any "power" over me whatsoever is, frankly, laughable). I rarely ever notice the age gap, and when I do, it's only to marvel at the fact that someone his age can behave like such an immature brat at times.

     A.A. Sexual pleasure
with an older man as opposed to someone her own age? You have to be
kidding. That's a clear power differential that speaks for itself I
think, but, of course, not to you. It must be nice to live in a
world where things just happen. Not happen for a reason, but just
happen.
