After an exhausting day doing what Oregonians do when the rain
stops--clean gutters, prune plants, pick up bits of trees--I settled to
watch the Olympics. Can't say I'm thrilled. But one of the ads caught
my eye. It's for some kind of heart medication. The slogan, "Because
you can't take chances with dangerous clots."
