Dear Teemu,

Now that Andreas has secreted himself wherever it is that he has secreted 
himself in order to write his book, and you have been abandoned to assume all 
alone the glorious title of Grand Poobah, I petition you, Sir, your Excellency, 
to reformulate the strictures against one JL as spelt out by your predecessor 
in a moment of frustration.  I don't ask this for JL's sake, no, but for mine 
own and that of all the other lister's who long to see their responses to JL's 
posts answered in a timely manner.  My petition, your Most Esteemed Monitor, is 
for the sake of the List itself, to keep it moving forward as only timeliness 
can.  I petition you to quiz the young Mr. Speranza and see if he'll not agree 
to limit himself to 4 (and no more) posts per day should you be willing to take 
him off "monitoring status".  I ask this in the name of all free human beings, 
fully cognizant that freedom entails responsibility.  I know that young Mr. 
Speranza has learned his lesson and that he is willing to accept responsibility 
for his own postings.  Should he fail in this regard, then you, of course, will 
have no recourse but to remonitor him.  We all know that and even tacitly 
support it.  I ask all posters who feel as I do to sign this petition and 
forward it to Teemu.  If you don't, well, don't blame me for what happens.  
Karma has it's own rules.
