[lit-ideas] Re: Comparative religion

Presumably Christ came to America to bury the religious treasure that
Joseph Smith found in that hill in New England where they gather each
summer.
_____

"Arrr, me buckos," exclaimed Christ, propping his pegleg on an unburied
chest, "tis me treasure from the Indies, and me scrolls with all manner
of Hindoo and Chinaman's lore sealed within."

"Cap'n," cried the unfortunate Lazarus from the depths of the working
pit, "have we hit the depths?"

"Nay, lazy cur," said Christ, sweeping the holy parrot from his shoulder
so that it immediately fluttered into the pit, "Ye'll have no more grog
until your spades scrape another league down."

...oh never mind.

Abandoning a potential niche in the Christian fiction market,
Eric
