[lit-ideas] Re: Cindy bites yer legs

Except that you impugned Cindy's motives as mother using her son for political
purposes and her son's motives for enlisting as a reaction to her.  That's
unrelated to parenting?  The amazing neocon ability to look at something and
say it's not happening.  How does one fix something that's not happening?
Answer is, one doesn't, one can't, and here we are, doing great in Iraq
(McCain), not teetering on the verge of bankruptcy and severe recession,
possibly depression, daddy can do no wrong, everything just hunky dory.  If it
ain't broke, don't fix it.  Your post wasn't about parenting issues.  Got it.

ANDY: So you're saying patriotic behavior is the result
of bad parenting?

No, I'm stating that one must always pay attention to
motives, whether the motive is Cindy Sheehan's motives
and their implications for her manifesto, Andy's
motives for always seeking explanations in bad
parenting ... or for that matter, my motives for
looking at motives.

It seems much more interesting that way.

Eric
