So you're saying patriotic behavior is the result of bad parenting?  You won't 
get any disagreement from me.  Alternatively, your position is that once a bad 
parent realizes her errant ways in raising a loser son who would fight for his 
country that she needs to cover up by making political hay?  So, instead of Go 
Army! it's better to schedule a Codependents Anonymous meeting and work through 
mother issues?  Boohah Eric!

See the lie in her words? Like she suddenly had a 
political awakening AFTER her son died. Wow, what a 
cold demagogic lie! Anything to keep in the limelight, 
I suppose.

Casey was probably ashamed of her. Maybe that's why he 
enlisted.
