The present conflicted case.  The only ones in conflict are the Americans. 
Al Qaeda, Iran, OBL, North Korea aren't conflicted at all.  They're
delighted in fact to see the U.S. bruised and bleeding money as well as
men.  Iraq has galvanized the Islamist young men in Europe too, especially
given that a real big chunk of them are unemployed.  It's either join the
nice movement the Americans gave them or hang out on street corners and do
drugs.  They join the movement.  No conflict at all.
