The intent was definitely manipulation. That point so far has escaped you.
Get real, Irene. It's been said many times over by everyone involved,
myself included, that it may well have been an attempt to 'manipulate'
people. If you can't distinguish between what someone attempts and
what someone accomplishes, I cannot advance your understanding.
Now, I really am done with this nonsense.
