In the cramped quarters of the Mutton Board Room, almost
anywhere is under or near the piano. The instrument in
question, a Chickering ten-foot dating to the Great War, was
an institutional heirloom. Yet that did not prevent its
understructure from being damaged during its move -- circa
1975 -- to the Board Room, where the imposing instrument had
remained unplayed.
Latest news off the wire is that Hugo Blowback Will Go Back
to the Philosophy Department.
