Its logical  form is, more precisely, "Not possible" (cf. KR Popper "The 'As

I'm working on Popper's, currently, notion of 'eigenaupfenuner', or  
eye-opener.
 
He notes that in California (he visited in 1957) 'as if' is used like  
'like', to 'open-the-eye':
 
           He dresses as  if he is a girl
           He is like a  girl
 
He uses other examples from theoretical physics but they do not seem as  
relevant.
