Anonymously offered picture of child who will grow up to like
Schopenhauer.
Very cute. Recent? Belonging to...?
http://litideas.blogspot.com/
I wanted my child to grow up to appreciate Nietzsche...and maybe
Spinoza...and certainly Heraclitus...and the Epicurists and the
Stoics....and he did...
The anonymity on the blogsite is nice...fertile ground for speculation
and imagination. A little mystery...
But maybe we could self-identify after a week or two...
In that spirit, I'll admit that I posted the grade two school picture
(I'm the glum one on the left (and that's my brother over my left
shoulder (looking a lot perkier than me))). I also posted the 1970s
picture of my little boy on the beach in North Bay, Ontario. I hope
also that some of you took a look at the galleries of my dogs (they're
really my husband's dogs) that I also posted in the blogosphere. The
second is merely achingly cute puppy pictures, but the first is quite
amusing -- not merely pictures -- I love quotations -- and who could not
love quotations.
