[lit-ideas] Re: A change in Bushian ethics ?

Iraqis who were kept captive by Americans in Abu Ghraib wound up dead. 
Since Americans outsource their torture, so what difference would it make
anyway?  The point of Cheney's fight for torture is to make you not want to
be captured by the Americans.  Or am I missing something?
