That's not fair, R. Paul -- there was I expecting an intelligent reply;
instead someone with the stopwatch. :(
Anyway, the issue W. O. brings up is a serious one.
I have heard the expression, "She is a professional student", derogatorily
meaning, 'she's been on campus for more than her share' or something.
The phrase, 'student' is possibly either idiotic or redundant, or otiose.
I claim that you cease to be a student when you die.
The phrase 'pro' is also otiose, especially as applied to 'prostitutes'.
In combo, as W. O. uses them, it's offensive.
Is a student 'professionally accountable'?
I re-read W. O.'s post and think he have meant that the student will be
accounted by a pro. But that's a different fish.
