Why are you under the impression that it doesn't work as-is?


I'm sorry, I didn't understand how ohci-ep93xx.c gets build into the
kernel.  I didn't see it built into an object file so I assumed it
wasn't getting included.  But now I see that ohci-hcd.c includes it, so
I just needed to enable USB_OHCI_HCD.  Sorry for the confusion.

Once I built USB_OHCI_HCD into the image, USB started working perfectly.
I just did a quick test of plugging in usb-storage device and I was able
to mount it without any problems.
