Thanks for posting the patch.  Have you gotten the driver to build (and
work) yet?  I added the appropriate entries to Kconfig and the Makefile
but it currently gets a lot of warnings and errors.  I'm probably going
to attack this once I get a few other things out of the way, but I
figured I'd see if you had any luck.
