I did not have time to test this (would have to add board support
first), but nevertheless, it's great to see things moving forward.

I've experimented with some register settings and it seems to work (let
hardware care about switching the data direction), but this needs some
testing.

Adapting the keypad driver from my git tree should not be too hard

I've thought about moving most of the logic back to userspace where it
belongs.
