Hello,
It requires lots of practicing and even it won't be one hundred percent sure 
that you will manage to. Sometimes it comes extremely quickly that it's almost 
impossible to avoid. If you're trying to hook up chests, turn off 
the engines so you'd hear better when it strikes, however it'd require a bit 
quicker reaction time than when your engines are on, since it takes time to 
start them. Treasure mania is a game which requires sharp reflexes 
(fishing, moving the hook when a fish comes near, lightning, arrows), luck 
(e.g. the bomb and the magical chests which take away gold).
Since it's an unending game, you can try as many times as you want, trying to 
beat your highscore or other's score on the scoreboards.
